We are hugely passionate about providing students who attend SEN schools with high quality staff who are knowledgeable and understanding.Your new roleYou will be providing support on a 1:1 basis as well as working with small groups of SEN students. Every student will have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) requiring flexible and individual support to enable them to succeed with their education. Although taking instruction from the teacher, you will take your own initiative when supporting pupils. Using a wide range of strategies you will do your up most to help students progress.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be hugely confident and knowledgeable within the SEN sector. Candidates must be patient and empathetic towards pupils and have a working knowledge of the SEN code of conduct. Excellent written and spoken communication skills is essential.
