We support 4 adults who have a learning disability and live in our supported living service in Woodley, Stockport. We are looking to grow our team of enthusiastic, fun honest and reliable support workers. The people we support have varying needs and hobbies. They require support around personal care, moving and handling, also support with medication. The people we support also love their hobbies and love to go for a pint of Guiness, or go to the disco on Thursdays, or even watching Emmerdale. Have a look at the additional information attached created by the people we support, this will give you an idea of what the people we support want from you. Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shift patterns, including some sleep in shifts (Payment for sleep ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements). We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance - Got a request, something special going on? Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.
