Apply now Support Worker needed for a local housing association in Bristol, 3 month part time contract Your new company You will be working for a national supported housing provider.You will be joining an organisation who puts their tenants at the forefront of the service providing national support services to a variety of clients from homeless, mental health, domestic violence and substance misuse. Your new role You will be working as a support worker for a 3 month temporary contract. You will be working on a 30 hour contract across a 3/4 day week. As a support worker you will be providing support plans to service users who have been through mental health backgrounds, supporting them to move on and promote independence. You will be carrying out a floating support service across the Bristol area, carrying out support plans, tenancy advice and housing management support. As a support worker you will respond to emergency and crisis situations by providing support, advice, signposting or direct interventions as necessary. As a support worker you will champion service user empowerment, encouraging the services on offer are accessible and relevant.What you'll need to succeed To be a successful support worker you must have working knowledge in supported housing and have working experience in mental health support. To be a successful support worker you must have strong knowledge in support plans, be able to communicate with different backgrounds and be passionate about helping people. You must have access to a car and have a clean driving license.
