Apply now We are currently recruiting for Support Workers within West Drayton and the surrounding areas. You will be working in a variety of supported living and residential care homes for adults with Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities. Ideally candidates will have experience of working within the social care sector however this is not essential as training will be provided. We pride ourselves on improving the lives of the people we support as well as assisting them to achieve their full potential. We promote a "doing with" opposed to "doing for" work ethic. Candidates should be able to use their own initiative and on occasion lone work. Duties may include: assisting with all aspects of personal care, escorting into the community, encouraging participation in activities, social inclusion and administration of medication. The role involves flexible working hours and you may be asked to work evening shifts and weekends.
