Title:Support WorkersReference number: 42477Hours: Various part time and casual roles availableLocation: Havant, HampshireContract type: PermanentSalary: £8.00 or £8.25 per hour (dependent on experience) About the role We have a variety of hours available, all of which consist of 12-hour shift patterns. We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of £7.50. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible - helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café. Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing. Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles. About you Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives. If you do have experience that's great! We also have 'Experienced Support Worker' opportunities in this location where we are looking people who have substantial recent experience of being a Support Worker or similar. The Experienced Support Worker role has an hourly rate of £8.25 per hour. Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
