Apply now My client a leading Travel Company with offices throughout the UK is due to increased new business seeking to bring in 1 new senior member of staff for their busy team based in Barnsley. Specialising in travel to North America & Canada, The Caribbean and also Dubai/Indian Ocean they are seeking high calibre travel consultants with in-depth product knowledge of either destination to come on board and put together tailor-made packages to suit the customer's needs. Working as part of a friendly team, you will be using your industry knowledge to create the best package. The ideal candidate must have previous travel experience and ideally knowledge of North America and Canada. Skills and experience required:*Experience of working in both a retail and commercial environment*Proven background and ability in arranging tailor-made worldwide travel itineraries*Experience working with a GDS (either Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus) would be desirable but not essential*Passionate about travel*Professional face to face and telephone manner and highly customer service focussed*Proven ability to build rapport with customers *Strong attention to detail*Ability to meet and exceed targets*A team player who enjoys a challenge, and able to work under own initiative*Working hours are on a rota basis between Monday-SaturdayContact or call
