Apply now We are looking for a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker to work throughout the Primary and Secondary classes of our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). The role is to walk around all the school and classes to diffuse students who are distressed and fractious. You must be Team-teach trained and understand the emotional needs of pupils with emotional and social difficulties. You do not necessarily need to have experience of working within a PRU or alternative provision setting but have experience of working with children who can sometimes display challenging behaviour.
