Apply now Teaching Assistant - SEN supportProspero Teaching are working closely with a large primary school in Manchester LEA that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to start work after Easter for the summer term. The role is to support a child with complex and challenging special needs. Initially this is a supply role but if successful throughout the summer term, the chances of a permanent contract are high. The successful candidate will be working in a department with a settled and experienced staff team, committed to each and every pupil. This role requires experience of working with children with SEND, especially ASD and ADHD, and in-depth knowledge of these two conditions.The school is a large primary school with an impeccable reputation, with leadership and management being credited by Ofsted. The school has a low turnover of staff showing that once appointed, individuals enjoy and integrate well into the working environment. The post has arisen due to an increase in pupil numbers, creating a great opportunity within the school.-Supporting children with special needs-Working within a KS2 department with a track record of achieving high standards-£60 to £70 per day depending on experience-TA role in large Manchester primary school-Working within a well-supported SEND team-Possibility of a permanent contractThis school is located in the central Manchester area and is a well-respected school in the area.
