Apply now We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Primary Schools in the Ashford area who are looking for Teaching Assistants on a supply basis; this ranges from emergency cover on a day to day basis; right through to long term assignments to cover periods of sickness. We look to recruit Teaching Assistants with a positive, can do attitude who have the ability to inspire and support children to want to learn. Teaching Assistants work under the direction and supervision of teachers in order to help promote effective learning and teaching usually for children that may encounter learning difficulties. You will be required to carry out tasks delegated to you by the teacher in order to work with children on both a 1-2-1 basis and also taking small groups to support learning difficulties. You will be responsible for supporting the teacher and children with (SEN) Special Educational Needs. Teaching Assistants play a key role in the day to day running of a classroom. In return you'll be covering at the right schools for you, in age groups of your preference; you will receive the luxury of a varied career, gain experience working at a range of schools and enjoy a profession whereby no two days are the same.
