Benefits include: On-the-job training resulting in a nationally a recognised certificateCompetitive apprentice wageCareer guidance with opportunities for progressionRetail discountsDiscounted travel28 days' holiday including bank holidays Responsibilities will include: The job role is multi-faceted and covers a range of duties within the company including: Claims Handling Carry out, under the supervision of the claims team manager, all aspects of claims handling for the recovery of losses suffered by clients for all types of losses arising all over the world involving all types of cargo carried by road, sea, air or during storage.This will include consideration of evidence, documents, contracts and legal issues surrounding losses and efforts to then progress and resolve the claim against any third party responsible for the loss, either amicably through negotiation or by legal steps where necessary. Administration General office administration including, suitable correspondence, data input, managing case files and liaison with clients, insurance brokers, lawyers and other third parties, amongst other related duties. Marketing Supporting with marketing activity, including attendance of suitable networking events and conferences, as well the possibility for business travel in due course. The successful candidate will have the following skills: 5 GCSE'S A* - C including Maths and English at grade B minimum.A levels of equivalent, preferably in written based subjects such as law, English, politics or similar.Speak a second language or being multilingual is an advantage.A 'people person' and an excellent communicator.Good interpersonal skills with an amenable nature.Well presented.
