We are offering the right candidate the opportunity to join our Industry Leading Exhibition & Live Events Platform/Flooring Company as a Trainee Sales Executive, based in Walsall north Birmingham. Due to the company's continuous growth and demand we are looking to add a Trainee Sales Executive into the sales team and are looking for someone who's hard working, confident, motivated and wants progression in their job role. This is a varied role that will require you to communicate with customers both over the phone and via email; taking new enquires, chasing outstanding quotes and chasing outstanding information for upcoming installations. These tasks will be with both new and existing clients and in addition to this you will be required to assist the sales team with administrative tasks and report back to the sales manager. There is NO cold-calling involved in this role. As a Trainee Sales Executive you will be required to communicate confidently and clearly with both customers and fellow employees so a good level of confidence and communication and being able to work in a team is essential. The role will require you to work on numerous last minute requests from clients, thus the ability to multi task and prioritise under pressure is vital. A good level of understanding of Maths and English is important for calculating costs and communicating with colleagues and customers via email. During the busier times of the year you may be required to attend installations at the exhibitions venue's to gain experience and training and on occasion assist our installation crews. All relevant training for the Trainee Sales Executive role and career progression will be provided by the company. A full UK driving licence is preferable but not essential. Wages: £ 15,250 to 17,550 per annum depending on experience and ability Additional quarterly bonus subject to achieving targets Office Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30 or 0800-17:30hrs Additional work on weekends is also available. (Overtime is mandatory during busier periods of the year) Holiday: 20 days per annum (Five days to be taken during Christmas shutdown) + bank holidays.
