I am seeking an experience Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency on either a full or part-time basis.My client has a number of branches across Kent and South East London and is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Travel Consultant in one of their stunning, newly refurbished office in the Bromley area.A competitive basic salary along with attractive incentive and bonus schemes is on offer for someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.TRAVEL CONSULTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:*To deal with all travel enquiries in an efficient and timely manner*To tailor-make all holiday requests to include everything from UK airport hotels to worldwide destinations*Up sell extra's such as insurance, car hire, local tours.*To be self-motivated adaptable and work well within a team*To have a passion for the travel industry and good working knowledge of Tour Operating Systems *To meet and exceed sales targets*Coming up with new promotional and marketing ideas and following them through.*To support company preferred partner strategy and Network with our preferred tour operators*To build and maintain extensive knowledge of products, services and changes within the industry, through regular online training, supplier events, tour operator evenings and company training sessions*To attend familiarisation trips to new destination to gain knowledge and gather information to help you sell the destination/products easierTRAVEL CONSULTANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*Previous retail travel or tour operating experience*Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well within a team*You will need a passion for worldwide products with a good sales focus*Have the ability to work under pressure and have good time management*Be flexible to cover other branches if required *To be naturally enthusiastic, have a friendly and professional manner *Interested in your own self-developmentTHE PACKAGE:The successful candidate can expect a basic salary along with fantastic incentive and bonus scheme whilst having the opportunity to work in one of their stunning, newly refurbished offices.INTERESTED?If you have the relevant experience required for this role and wish to apply for this position, please follow the instructions to apply or email and attach your CV to
