Apply now An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Vehicle Sales Person to work on a permanent basis for our client SHB Vehicle Hire, a market leading national vehicle fleet management company. This position will be based at their East Harling , Thetford depot.The role will involve selling Cars, Vans and possibly Golf Buggies and HGV vehicles by understanding and demonstrating characterics, capabilities and features, developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales .You will co-ordinate activity from start to handover, along with running an efficient and well organised Sales Pitch to our customers.Key Tasks:Included but are not limited to: *Selling vehicles as well as finance and related product.*Discuss customers needs and the features of different vehicles.*Advise customer which vehicles would suit customer best.*Demonstrating vehicles to customers, including taking them for test drives.*Reporting to the National Vehicle Re marketing Manager on activities, reviews and analyses.*Meeting customers face to face and holding sales discussions. *Writing up sales contracts/paperwork and pre-delivery inspections. *Follow -up in-bound telephone enquires, walk in prospects and e mail enquires.*Resolve all escalated queries within a given time frame*Liaising with Workshops / bodyshop to ensure that vehicle preparation and repairs are carried out before customer vehicle collection.*Load and photograph vehicles on to vehicle sale web based platforms and update stock lists *Keep the Sales pitch and vehicles clean and tidy.Skills required*Must be an excellent communicator and able to build rapport with a wide range of people .*Must have strong administrative skills *Must have the ability to communicate on all levels*Must be a team player*Must have a methodical approach and a strong attention to detail*Must be able to follow processes*Must be able to negotiate with customers at all levels, both verbally and in written communications*Product knowledge of vehicles would be beneficial*An understanding of the Vehicle Rental industry would be beneficial*Must have excellent IT skills and be a competent user of MS Office*Must be able to work with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines*An ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.*A valid driver's license & satisfactory driving record.*Unlimited resilience, drive,energy and talent.This role includes a 45 hour week and potentially a very lucrative salary Apply to nicholas.fryatt@omegaresource Visit - SHB We are always seeking talented candidates including; HGV Technicians, HGV Mechanics, LCV Mechanics, LCV Technicians, Auto Electricians, HGV Drivers, Casual Drivers, Valeters, Panel Beaters, Commercial Body Builders, Vehicle Fabricators, Hire Controllers, Apprentice Technicians, Apprentice Mechanics, Paint Sprayers and many more across the UK network.
