Apply now Our client is a highly successful specialist car dealer established for 30 years located in rural Berkshire and conveniently close to Reading and the M4. Their workshops are split into three departments, servicing, restoration and racing. They offer a comprehensive service to their customers and now they are seeking a talented technician to become part of their team. The position is an exciting opportunity due to the nature of the vehicles' you will be working on. Depending on the right candidate there is also opportunity to travel across Europe with the race team and attend race circuits including the historic Le Mans and Spa. Responsibilities; You should be able to demonstrate experience and confidence as a vehicle technician/mechanic with cars in the following areas; servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. Overview ·Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles. ·Identify problems with vehicles ·Perform basic services and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation. ·Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts. ·Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles. ·Willingness to learn with hands-on training. ·Help keep workshop clean and organized. Can perform to tight deadlines Exceptional attention to detail Requirements: Related qualifications Ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge in previously unfamiliar tasks. Background in a car specialist environment - a strong advantage but not necessary . This position would ideally suit a technician who is interested in working in an environment where each day is different, wants to be challenged and work in a friendly team environment.
