We are currently recruiting for a Yard Hygiene Operative to be based in our Manufacturing site in Wembley working the night shift. As a Yard Hygiene Operative you will be responsible to ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the site. Key responsibilities Operate Food, waste and bread compactors and Cardboard baler in a safe and efficient mannerUnderstanding and co-operation in all Health & Safety mattersPerform general cleaning duties as and when requiredEnsure the food, general and bread waste are disposed into correct compactorMaintaining the yard and smoking area standard by making sure these areas are clean and free from obstructionWorking at all times in accordance with relevant risk assessments and safe working methods, using the appropriate supplied PPE.To make management aware of any issues with defects/concerns/problems with equipment or general dutiesCollecting waste from waste hatch using wheeled bins and then dispose into the correct waste compactorsTo make sure all waste are removed on a regular basis to the disposal areaTo assist in the control of waste movements and recycling on siteAnd any other duties as directed by the ManagementResponsible for maintaining a clean and tidy site and to ensure that waste material is disposed of. "Clean as you Policy"Responsible for alerting the Hygiene Supervisor of any problems that have an effect on hygiene This role is a full-time, working 45 hours per week.
