Apply now Prospero Teaching are looking for a Year 8 Form Teacher with experience working with children with Autism. The role is based at a special school in Cambridge and is to start from Easter 2018.About the school and contract:*We are looking for a qualified teacher who has experience as a form teacher, to work with small groups of students with a range of high and low functioning Autism.*Whilst you will be tutoring a Year 8 group, due their SEN difficulties, the majority will be working at a lower level than their age might suggest.*Purpose built school with specialist learning areas.*This is a permanent post to stat after Easter 2018.*The role is to work in a Special School that Ofsted have rated as "Good"About the successful Form Tutor:*Previous experience supporting Year 8 age children, ideally within the SEN Sector, although these in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.*Previous experience working with Autism would be advantageous *A passion for working with children with Autism and for making a difference.*Pro Active and innovative.To be eligible the Form Tutor must have/be:*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with Parents/Carers.Please apply now with your updated CV, if this position is of interest.If you have a friend who you think would be interested in this vacancy then please refer them to us and you could earn £150 from our Refer a Friend scheme.
